Come on out to the Farm and see for yourself how your CSA veggies are grown. Take a ride through the fields to see view how the spinach is sprouting and the cilantro is coming along.  Learn more about organic agriculture, eating fresh veggies, and the local food movement from a series of educational presentations, featuring: Jane Albritton with Edible Front Range Magazine; Dr. Lewis Grant of Grant Family Farms; Dr. David Armstrong from CU Boulder; Steven Hoffman with the Organic Center and Stephanie Yoo, dietitian with Heart Center of the Rockies.

Jeff Stephenson will kick off the music at 10 a.m. with blues music on his guitar. Enjoy reggae music by "Far from Yard" performs at Noon and "Motorhome" at 4:30 pm. Food and beverage vendors will provide a diverse menu and cool freshing drinks. Oogave Sodas and Fort Collins Brewery will pour some local favorites for your enjoyment. A collection of vendors supporting local non-profits and home-grown businesses will share their stories and purchasable items: Queen of the Meadow (body care products); Eco Thrift; Pet Promise (yummy, healthy pet food); Rolling Spokes Bicycle Touring Company; Tred Light (handmade sandals); None of the Gluton Bakery; Tasty Harmony; Little Italian Kitchen; Dinner Fork; and Cuca's authentic Mexican food.

Kids will have plenty of fun visiting the Animal Barnyard and getting to know chickens, ducks, geese, goats and lambs... and maybe a turkey, too! A kids' fun and games tent will feature planting seeds, egg toss, story time, a gluten-free cupcake walk... and much more!

Your CSA team will be on hand to answer questions about our popular farm share program.  (NOTE: Our first deliveries are set for the week of June 15th.) Fresh-picked vegetables from the Farm will be available for purchase, as well as fresh organic eggs. The folks from Grant Farms Garden Store in Cheyenne are bringing down flats of flowers and plenty of decorative planters for sale.

Come meet your fellow CSA members, enjoy good food and fun along the Foothills of the Rockies! Learn about organic farming and why it’s good for you... and good for the earth. (Bring your boots - the good earth is a little soggy this week!)

CSA members and families admitted FREE of charge.
General admission $5 and free for kids under 12.
(If you want a good local brew,
don’t forget to bring your ID for 21 and over.)
