Andy Grant honored as Rotary's Master Agriculturist Check out the whole story by clicking HERE. "Expanding a small family farm into a successful organic specialty and commodity crops farm distributing product locally and nationally." Grant was also honored for his humanitarian work. In the last 10 years, Grant Family Farms has donated more than 1-MILLION pounds of produce to food banks, he is also the co-founder of the Tsunami Boat Project in Thailand that has built more than 150 new fishing boats for those who lost their sole source of income in the December 2004 tsunami.
Eggceptional!
Research has shown pastured eggs to be more nutritious than conventional or even organic eggs. Pastured eggs have 10 percent less fat, 40 percent more vitamin A, and 34 percent less cholesterol than eggs obtained from factory farms (Mother Earth News). We supplement our hens' diet with a Certified Organic feed that is also enhanced with flax seed so that our eggs have high levels of Omega-3. Our eggs are quite possibly the most nutritious bang for your buck naturally wrapped up in its own shell!
